American Society of Women Accountants Partners with Ledgent

The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) is pleased to announce a new relationship with Ledgent, the accounting and finance division of Roth Staffing Companies, LP. ASWA and Ledgent, a staffing services and executive search firm, formed this alliance to provide additional resources for ASWA members who are seeking their next career opportunity or searching for a new employee in the accounting and finance fields for their organization.

“The American Society of Women Accountants is pleased to take our relationship with Ledgent to the next level as a partner,” said Vivian Moller, ASWA 2010-2011 National President. “With access to Ledgent’s resources and services, ASWA members are poised for future career success.”

ASWA is the only organization that solely represents the interest of women in the entire accounting and finance community. Women compose over half of accounting graduates in the United States so it is imperative for organizations like Ledgent to stay connected with ASWA members to ensure the availability of resources needed to succeed in the industry.

Ledgent CPE University hosts monthly CPE events throughout the country which are free to ASWA members. Ledgent’s Alumni Program also sponsors the first year professional association dues for its placed candidates to encourage involvement with organizations like ASWA.

“More than half of Ledgent’s recruiters and coworkers are women with previous experience working in the accounting and finance industry,” said Julie Hagan Porter, Senior Vice President of Professional Services, “ASWA members will be able to take advantage of Ledgent’s committment to providing consultative workforce strategies, career advice and innovative programs like Ledgent CPE University and Ledgent Alumni Program.”
