Average salaries for graduates with bachelor’s degrees rose 6% in the past year, according to a survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). The average 2011 salary for new graduates is $51,171, up from $48,288 in 2010.
By discipline, new grads with computer-related degrees are now offered $63,760, up 9.6% from last year; business degree salaries rose 4.6% to $48,805; and engineering degree salaries rose 2.8% to $60,291.
College and university career services offices provided data for the survey.
