Roth Staffing is on a mission to eliminate hunger. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, and the belief that no child should go hungry, Roth launched a Virtual Food Drive this November. Through Roth’s partnership with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign, the contribution resulted in connecting children in need with 46,940 meals.
Through social media postings, members of the community were encouraged to donate through Roth’s charity initiative, Purpose:full. Roth recognized that not everyone can contribute financially, so in exchange for a “Like” on Roth’s Facebook page, or a “Share” of their Virtual Food Drive post, Roth agreed to donate 10 meals for each social activity.
The page was liked more than 100 times in the span of 10 days, and the post was shared more than 130 times.
For every donation made through Purpose:full, Roth matched each individual donation, dollar for dollar.
These efforts resulted in a total of 46,940 meals for children in need. This nearly doubles the 47,490 meals that had been donated throughout the year through the company’s Purpose:full website, for a grand total of 94,430 meals so far in 2015.
