Temporary Workers Seek Improved Communications from Their Staffing Providers

A key driver of temporary worker engagement is communication, according to a recent internal survey conducted by Roth Staffing Companies, L.P. Our research reveals that our temporary workers (whom we term Ambassadors) are most engaged when they receive follow-up, praise and recognition for a job well done, and feedback on performance. The process improvement survey included more than 1,600 Ambassadors nationwide, and was conducted by our Customer Experience department in collaboration with an independent online research company.

Additionally, a recent survey by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), a global advisor on contingent work, showed similar results. As part of the “Best Staffing Firms to Temp For” program, SIA asked temporary workers what they would recommend their staffing firms do differently, workers most often offered suggestions for better communication.
