    As an Active Duty Marine, there is an intangible spirit that’s instilled in all of us; a spirit that lifts Marines above themselves for the greater good of Corps and Country, known as "esprit de corps." This feeling of belonging and purpose becomes noticeably diluted when transitioning to the civilian sector, and unfortunately, many are not able to duplicate that devotion to duty which inhibits them from ever acclimating to a new organization's culture.

    This is often times one of the biggest barriers for Vets, but the distinct similarities between the Marine Corps' Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment and Roth Staffing Companies' Mission, Vision, Values, and Purpose & Promise made the decision to join the Roth Family very easy.

    I am retired after 20-plus years of active service, including 15 years as a Navy Recruiter. One of the most important attributes I was looking for in my next career path was to associate with a company that aligned with the culture of excellence I had become accustomed to in the military. Roth Staffing’s Purpose and Promise caught my attention: ‘To make life better for the people we serve’ and ‘We love to create remarkable experiences… every person, every time.’ I have assisted many individuals in selecting a career path in the Armed Forces. I now have the opportunity to assist an even wider range of individuals achieve their goals, and set them up to successfully serve our clients’ needs.

    My parents and grandparents raised me to have good moral values. The US Army held me accountable to those values, which allowed me to grow as a team member, a subordinate, and a leader. Of all the Army values (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage), Integrity has always stood out for me ahead of the others. It’s about doing what’s right, when no one is watching. I am proud to have served, and I apply the values of the Army each day to my professional and personal life.

    Having served in the military, I was introduced to people with all kinds of backgrounds, stories, and obstacles. The relationships I built with those people helped me become more open minded, and it gave me the deep understanding that we really are all the same underneath it all. Because of this, I can meet people and establish a connection relatively quickly which translates into great communication and relationships with clients and Ambassadors.

How We Give Back

Through our Purpose:full charity initiative, Roth is proud to give back to veteran causes, including: Wounded Warriors, Working Wardrobes (VetNet) and The Pat Tillman Foundation.

Operation Gratitude

Our Woodland Hills team volunteered at Operation Gratitude, helping to assemble care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene products, and handmade items, contributing to the 250,000+ packages that Operation Gratitude sends annually. They also helped sort through letters of appreciation to new recruits, veterans, first responders, active duty service members, wounded heroes and their caregivers.

9/80 Flex Schedules:

We are happy to offer a 9/80 flex schedule. Coworkers have the opportunity to work 80 hours over the course of 9 days, rather than 10. This gives them every other Friday off, that’s 26 three day weekends a year!

In 2019, Roth is partnering with the American Heart Association for the 4th year in a row to raise money and awareness! Our coworkers will be participating in heart walks all across the country.
