Senior Vice President & General Counsel
Jennifer Jech Simonson joined Roth Staffing Companies in 2004 and currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, overseeing the company’s Legal, Human Resources, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Risk Management functions. In her role as the organization’s chief legal advisor, Jennifer leads the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of policies and practices that ensure full compliance with the complex framework of federal, state, and local laws governing Roth Staffing’s nationwide operations. She also manages all litigation, contract processes, and employment law issues, ensuring the company and its clients are protected and well supported.
On the Human Resources front, Jennifer is responsible for delivering Roth Staffing’s innovative HR programs and strategic initiatives for both full-time coworkers and the organization’s extensive temporary workforce. She oversees centralized employee relations for temporary employees, ensuring that Roth Staffing’s values, culture of care, and standards of excellence extend to every Ambassador assignment.
Before joining Roth Staffing, Jennifer spent seven years representing employers and management as an employment and business litigator. She practiced in both federal and state courts, handling a broad range of employment law, labor relations, and business litigation matters.
Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from UCLA and her Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley School of Law. Her leadership and impact have earned national recognition, including a Gold Stevie® Award from the American Business Awards for Human Resources Executive of the Year in 2015 and a Silver Stevie® Award in 2018.
