Staffing & Recruiting

Brett Roth

Brett Roth joined Roth Staffing Companies in 2008 after earning his degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Northeastern University. He began his career as a recruiter in the company’s corporate office while simultaneously developing the business plan for what would become Ledgent Technology.

In 2009, Brett launched Ledgent Technology, a specialized business line focused on placing IT professionals. As Director, he spent four years expanding Ledgent Technology’s presence into new markets and building its reputation for exceptional service. In 2013, Brett was promoted to Vice President of Ledgent Technology, overseeing all branches nationwide and driving continued growth across the U.S.

Brett’s leadership and impact led to his promotion in 2018 to Senior Vice President of Roth Staffing Companies, where he continues to lead Ledgent Technology and champion several companywide initiatives that enhance service delivery and communication for both Ambassadors and clients. Notably, Brett played a key role in launching the Roth Staffing Service Values, supporting the company’s commitment to providing the best Ambassador experience in the industry, a standard reflected in ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing Talent Award and multiple appearances on Staffing Industry Analysts’ lists of Best Staffing Firms to Temp For.

In 2020, Brett expanded his responsibilities beyond field sales and recruitment to include oversight of the corporate marketing, training and development, and talent engagement teams, further advancing Roth Staffing’s mission to make life better for the people and organizations it serves.

Adam Roth

“Adam Roth brings a compelling vision that others want to follow. His ability to sculpt a course of action and strategy serves Roth coworkers and customers in the most profound way,” says Curt Coffman, author of First, Break All the Rules and Follow This Path.

As CEO of one of the largest staffing firms in the U.S., Adam Roth is the architect behind one of the industry’s most celebrated coworker engagement programs. Under his leadership, Roth Staffing has ranked #1 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) Best Places to Work list in 2022, 2023 and 2026, and has earned ongoing recognition from ClearlyRated as a Best Staffing Firm for Women and Best Staffing Firm to Work For. The company has also been honored by Inc. as a Best Workplace and by Fortune for Best Workplaces for Women, People Companies That Care, and Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services, in addition to appearing on USA Today’s Top Workplaces. These accolades are especially notable given Roth Staffing’s national scale, with locations spanning from California to Washington, D.C.

Adam’s emphasis on service excellence is reflected in the performance of each Roth Staffing business line, all of which consistently earn ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing awards in both the Client and Talent categories year after year. His leadership has earned him distinguished individual honors as well, including the 2018 Gold Stevie® Award for Executive of the Year (Business Services) and induction into SIA’s Staffing 100 Hall of Fame, along with prior inclusion in their 40 Under 40 list.

Deeply committed to community impact, Adam has woven philanthropy into the fabric of the company. He previously served on the executive board of the American Heart Association’s Orange County Heart Walk and acted as Chair in 2018, leading the most successful fundraising event in the program’s history. Beyond the AHA, he has expanded the organization’s community partnerships, including support for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Adam joined Roth Staffing after earning his bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary. He founded the Adams & Martin Group legal staffing line and served as its President for four years before becoming Chief Administrative Officer. He was later promoted to President and COO in 2008.

Adam has served as CEO of Roth Staffing Companies since 2016, guiding the organization with visionary leadership, an unwavering commitment to culture, and a passion for making life better for the people and communities the company serves.

Ben Roth

Ben Roth is a visionary industry leader who has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts as one of staffing’s 100 Most Influential People. After serving more than a decade as an executive leader at a large national staffing organization, Ben stepped away from the industry but never stopped imagining how much better staffing could be. He envisioned a company that truly puts the needs of candidates first, one where doing the right thing would always serve as the compass for conducting business. Driven by this purpose, he set out to reinvent the staffing experience and founded Roth Staffing Companies in 1994, opening a single office in Newport Beach, California. His commitment to building an organization that was both different and better, one that embraced broader social responsibilities, quickly led to extraordinary growth.

At the company’s outset, Ben believed he had three options: change with the industry, remain constant and get left behind, or lead and change the industry itself. For Ben, the choice was clear. By 1999, Roth Staffing was ranked by Inc. Magazine as the #1 fastest growing privately held company in the United States, achieving an unprecedented 20,332% growth over a four-year period. Ben was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for business services, and over the decades the company has continued to earn national acclaim—including repeated recognition as a Best Staffing Firm to Work For by Staffing Industry Analysts, ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing® awards for Client, Talent, and Staffing Satisfaction, and multiple distinctions from Fortune’s Great Place to Work and Inc.’s Best Workplaces rankings.

Ben authored Roth Staffing’s Mission, Vision, Values, Purpose, and Promise, creating the soul of the company, widely regarded as one of the strongest cultures in the staffing industry. Known as an innovator, Ben pioneered several industry shaping concepts, most notably the “On Premise” staffing model, which he introduced in the early 1990s. Today, nearly one-third of global staffing spend flows through this model. He also created the Ambassador Program®, which dramatically enhances engagement among talent on assignment and empowers coworkers to fulfill the Roth Promise for customers.

More than 30 years after founding Roth Staffing Companies, Ben continues to play an active leadership role, shaping strategic direction, guiding cultural philosophy, and championing the values that have made Roth Staffing one of the most successful and admired organizations in the industry.
